Amber Rubarth

Winner of NPR’s prestigious Mountain Stage New Song Contest, Amber Rubarth writes songs of courageous vulnerability so personal that they touch the universal. Rubarth’s fifth album, produced by Jacquire King (Tom Waits, Norah Jones), debuted at No. 13 on iTunes’ songwriter chart and features duets with Jason Reeves and Jason Mraz. Amber has toured extensively through the US, Europe, and Japan, appearing at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Her songs have attracted enthusiastic praise from NPR, the Huffington Post, BBC Radio, and Acoustic Guitar Magazine. Her live performance at the legendary Sun Studio is now airing nationwide on PBS.

Amber will be joined by two-time Grammy nominee, cello soloist Dave Eggar. A graduate of Juilliard’s prestigious doctoral program and Harvard University, Eggar has performed throughout the world including Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, and Paris Opera. He has released five solo records and toured and recorded with eminent artists including The Who, Patti Smith, Tony Bennett, Andrea Bocelli, and Evanescence. One Response to Amber Rubarth

  1. Bernard Roberston says:

Bocelli was born in 1958 to Alessandro and Edi Bocelli, even though they were advised to abort him.He has stated that his mother’s decision to give birth to him and overrule the doctor’s advice was the inspiration for him to hold a pro-life view toward abortion.[33] They lived on the family farm, selling farm machinery and making wine in the small village of La Sterza, a frazione of Lajatico, Tuscany, Italy, which is about 40 km (25 mi) south of Pisa. Bocelli’s mother and younger brother Alberto still live in the family home. Bocelli’s father died in 2000.-
