Vincent Beerman

As Developer Evangelist for Kynetx, I help communities of web, mobile and game developers create context-aware, cross-site apps that stretch across platforms.

I grew up in Western Colorado and attended CU Engineering school then worked for Rockwell Automation until 2004. After earning my Masters of Public Policy and MBA at Pepperdine University, I joined Foster Friess’ personal team in 2007. We launched Private Sector Solutions Network in early 2008, focusing on sustainable projects in domestic health care and international water infrastructure. I’m passionate about helping the country find private sector solutions to our education, energy, environment, health care, and economic challenges. I’m an avid skier, angler and amateur humorist and live with my fiance in Park City, UT.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxWomen, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxWomen event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

About TED

TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading.
