Rachel Hatch

TEDxReddingWomen, Organizer

In my (almost!) 30 years, I have enjoyed studying and working in Thailand, Ireland, Poland, and the US.

Today, I am energized and challenged by my work as a Research Manager at Institute for the Future. My current forecasting efforts are focused on:

* the future of spirituality & religion
* the future of connecting & relationships
* and the science of values & beliefs

I am also interested in how households and communities apply futures thinking to their current contexts in order to become more resilient. Other recent research areas include: future leadership skills, digital storytelling, active gaming, the future of philanthropy, the future of caregiving, and the future of communities.

I enjoy working with both corporate and non-profit organizations. My educational background includes an M. Div. from Yale Divinity School, a M. Phil. from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, and a B.A. in religion & psychology from St. Olaf College.
