I am a Mass Communications and Business graduate from the University of Northumbria. I have also been working as a web/graphic designer and a social media marketer for a little while. My passion for photography, advertising and the online world is making me pursue a career in digital communications. I have also developed a keen interest in mobile and see app development and mobile computing as being a very exciting industry at the moment. I am currently working as a Brand Ambassador at My Social Agency.

Born and raised in Peshawar, I am a Pakhtun by heart and a Muslim by faith. I want to bring about a social change in Peshawar and my idea is to do that with a small effort we call the ‘Peshawar Creatives Hub’ which is a collaborative network working towards empowering.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxWomen, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxWomen event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

About TED

TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading.
