Mojdeh Eskandari is a senior leader and mentor with 25 years results-oriented experience in international sales and marketing management in various highly competitive industries including High Tech, Services, and Retail. She has held several executive positions in sales, marketing, and general management in various international companies including Oracle, where as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management she led a team of international key players covering 93 countries and contributing to $2.8B in revenue for Oracle.

Entrepreneurial aptitude, ability to forge strong alliances, strategic and tactical planning skills, and maintaining collaborative working relationship are among her forte.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxWomen, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxWomen event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)

About TED
