TEDxBradfordWomen, Organizer

I’m a founding partner of Carbon Imagineering, a UK-based emerging technologies think tank incubating a number of technology startups as well as contributing expertise to various media properties, including Giga Om’s Web Worker Daily.

Previously, I’ve been a Deputy Director of R&D for Orange UK, part of the advisory boards of O’Reilly’s ETel conference, Treasuremytext and the eComm 2008 and 2009 conferences, as as well as being on the boards of Ensembli (also as cofounder) and bmedi@. I’ve also written for O’Reilly Media, Corante and TechCrunch UK.

I’m also the founder of ‘LSx’ – the Leeds Web Festival – a mini-TED, now into it’s second year. Also, shortly launching DayLeeds, a local news service, and Dotnorth, a regional technology cultures blog.
