Aurelie Salvaire

TEDxBarcelonaWomen, Organizer

Graduated from HEC Business School in Paris in 2001, I left France almost immediately for what has now become my home town: Barcelona! I worked 4 years managing strategy and organization projects in hospitals throughout Europe with Antares Consulting (a Spanish consulting company specialized in healthcare and social work). I traveled 6 months in Asia (India, China and Southeast India) and back from there, decided to shift my career towards development. I then joined Intermon Oxfam (the Spanish Oxfam branch) to set up the entire humanitarian action unit. I experienced field work in Ethiopia as Finance and HR Manager of their refugee camp project over there. Back in Europe, I joined Ashoka France to organize their 30th anniversary in June 2011 and identify social entrepreneurs in affordable housing. Now I would like to orientate my steps towards women empowerment and set up my own project of an ethnic concept store gathering fabrics, jewels elaborated by women handicrafts cooperatives all over the world.

I am really interested in attending the TEDxWoman Barcelona event that is taking place the 1st December, but I haven´t found any possibility of applying…
Is there any way to get a chance to go?

    Thank you!
    Best regards,

    Myriam
