Abhishek Suryawanshi loves to do things differently. He did research on “Suction Method of Irrigation” for farmers.

He presented his work and research at National Children Science Congress (2004) held at Guwahati in presence of then President Hon.Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam.

He was also exclusively selected from Maharashtra by Department of Science and Technology (Govt. of India) to represent state in special program “Hum Honge Kaamyab – T.V series for Young Scientists” which was telecasted on National Television.

He is Curator and Licensee for TEDxPune, also Ambassador for Wikipedia.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxWomen, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxWomen event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
